Tiger's First Den Meeting!
Our first den meeting will be Monday October 4th 6:30PM at the Church. If you were able to get your tiger den book from the council store, then bring
it with you to each meeting. Please remember that a parent is always required to stay with your scout at every den meeting and all other scouting
events while your son is a Tiger cub. Besides, scouting is a family event!
Also, bring your application and/or registration fee ($15) if you have not turned it in yet.
Remember to bring back your Cub Scout application if you have not yet. Thanks again for joining our Cub Scout Pack!
Tiger Scout Uniforms
The Tiger cub uniforms consists of a blue scout shirt, neckerchief/slide, belt and required patches. The patches needed for the shirt are:
- Council shoulder patch
- Unit numbers which are 26
- Den number 8
- Purple world crest
Other uniform items are not required such as a hat, pants, socks, etc. You are welcome to buy these items but we do not require them.
You can purchase these items at our local Scout Council Store located at 11900 Abercorn Street. Go down Abercorn and past the Home Depot and Lowes on right. Pass through the light at Largo. Just down Abercorn on the curce is where they are located. It is a brown building behind some trees near St. Joseph's hospital. Their phone # is 927-7272. Be sure to call for the store hours because they are not open all of the time.
Your son will also need the Tiger handbook.
Bring A Friend To Any Scouting Event!
Have your son bring a friend to any of the den or pack meetings to see how much fun we have in scouting! If the guest decides to join our pack, your son will earn the recruiting award that he wears on his uniform. He will be on his way to earning many awards and having fun in Cub Scouts!
